Chelsea, Christian Pulisic ‘Would Prefer Deal On Permanent Terms’

Christian Pulisic is reportedly has uninterested in a loan move away from Chelsea in the January transfer window.

As he hasn’t been a regular starter for the Blues in the last 18 months, the winger’s long-term future has been a contentious issue.

That is especially true now, with the US international having less than 19 months left on his contract and now shining for his country at the World Cup.

In stark contrast, the 24-year-old has been inconsistent at Stamford Bridge, making only five starts and 13 substitute appearances in 2022-23.

The former Borussia Dortmund man is undoubtedly drawing interest from other clubs at a time when Chelsea are willing to let him go.

According to a recent report, Juventus and Inter Milan are both watching the situation and preparing to make a bid in January.

However, according to the Daily Mail, they will considerably boost their chances of completing a deal if they offer Pulisic a permanent exit from Chelsea.

As per the report, both sides are opposed to a temporary exit at the midway point of the season, implying that they both want clarity forging ahead.

Furthermore, there have been no talks about a potential renewal, with an exit likely only a matter of time.

However, it looks that Chelsea and Pulisic may continue to work together if a suitable permanent offer is not made before the end of the year.

If Pulisic stays in West London, he will still see plenty of action under Graham Potter, with eight appearances coming in the final three-and-a-half weeks before the World Cup.

However, Pulisic contributed just one assist from 353 minutes of play during that time, while also failing to take countless chances in the final third.
