The 26-year-old Frenchman has dropped in the Stamford Bridge hierarchy, and the Blues are weighing their alternatives for the center back they paid £38.8 million to recruit from Monaco in 2023.

It is anticipated that Disasi will be loaned until the summer with no purchase commitment if he insists on Villa.

It would provide him the opportunity to play Premier League games for a team vying for the Champions League that is having injury problems.

Disasi has been used as a makeshift right back by Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, but he hasn’t impressed sufficiently in central defense in that position this season.

Trevoh Chalobah was brought back by the Blues following his season-long loan at Crystal Palace to bolster their defense.

In Maresca’s mind, Chalobah surged ahead of Disasi right away, starting their past two Premier League games since his return.

In his first game back at Stamford Bridge, the 25-year-old center-back made an impression, reports Mail Online.

He played strong defense and came close to scoring in the 3-1 victory, with Noni Madueke heading in his attempt on the goal line.

Disasi, meanwhile, has only made six appearances in the Premier League this season, starting four of them and substituting twice.
