Chelsea have reportedly drawn a list of midfielders to replace Mateo Kovacic as he is closing on a move to Manchester City.
The 29-year-old is currently in final discussions for a move to the Etihad Stadium for £25 million to £30 million.
Despite not receiving a contract extension from Chelsea. And having just one year left on his Stamford Bridge contract, Kovacic has already reached an agreement on personal terms with City.
After winning the Club World Cup, Champions League, and Europa League during his five years at Chelsea. The Croatia international is now anticipated to depart the club.
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea have listed Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder, Moises Caicedo as a potential replacement for the Croatian.
Although Brighton will expect a high price for him, the Ecuadorian international is eager to join the Blues.
After having a £60 million bid rejected a week ago, it is uncertain whether Chelsea will be able to reach an agreement.

The Seagulls are reported to be willing to want Levi Colwill to be included in the deal but the Blues are unwilling to make such a move. As they believe the young defender is a huge prospect who has a future at the club.
Other players included in the list are Southampton’s prodigy, Romeo Lavia and his fellow Belgian, Amadou Onana who currently plies his trade with Everton.
