Chelsea finalising Havertz deal with Leverkusen as they agree €80m fee

Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen are now finalising a deal for Kai Havertz.

The Blues are keen on signing the 21-year-old forward and negotiations are ongoing over a transfer fee.

Italian transfer expert Nicola Schira claims a deal worth €80m (£71.9m) is set to be agreed, which would represent another excellent piece of business for the Chelsea hierarchy.

He posted to social media: “Now that Bayer Leverkusen are out of the UEL, talks with Chelsea over Kai Havertz are heating up.

“Deal worth around €80M, the German player set to sign 5-year contract (€8M net +add-ons/year).”
