Napoli have reportedly given Chelsea some conditions before they could seal the signing of Victor Osimhen.
The Blues are believed to be closer to a deal to sign the 25-year-old amid uncertainty surrounding his future this summer.
The London club have made significant summer spending buys in the past. But because of some expensive departures early in the window, this period has looked more balanced thus far.
Osimhen is apparently a top target right now and is anticipated to leave this summer. Romelu Lukaku is an outcast who wants to move to Napoli in an attempt to reunite with former manager Antonio Conte.
Fortunately for the Blues, they already have a way of lowering the £100 million asking price for the Nigeria international.
However, it will need more than simply Lukaku to complete a deal, as The Sun claims Chelsea are “on the verge” of sealing the transfer after learning all of the requirements, outside of paying the exorbitant asking price in cash, to sign Osimhen this summer.
According to London World, Chelsea have been told they have to give up Cesare Casadei and an additional £39 million in addition to Lukaku.
With add-ons, Chelsea only paid about £15 million for Casadei, who won the Championship while on loan at Leicester City in the 2023/24 season.

However, considering that Chelsea value Lukaku between £30 million and £35 million, and Casadei at most £20 million. The Blues might believe they are getting a good deal on Osimhen, possibly saving around £10 million over the asking price.
Osimhen has scored 65 goals in 108 league games for Napoli and is already regarded as one of the best in the world of football.
