Chelsea Hero Finally Set To Make Football Return After Real Madrid Termination

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid star, Eden Hazard is reportedly set to return back to the football pitch and feature in an upcoming charity match.

After only 76 outings in four seasons with Los Blancos, the 32-year-old left the club in the summer.

In 2019, the Belgian moved from Chelsea to the Spanish strongholds in a £130 million deal, although his stay there was unsuccessful.

Following the termination of his contract in the summer, reports indicated that he would hang up his boots permanently.

It has now been made known that Hazard will take part in a charitable game for an important cause.

He will participate in the Varietes Club de France on October 18 at the Stade de L’Epopee in Calais, L’Equipe reported.

The competition, which was established in 1971, hosts 40 charity games annually.

He will play on a team that includes some of France’s 1998 World Cup champions.

The manager of France, Didier Deschamps, Laurent Blanc, Robert Pires, and Christian Karembeu are all expected to play for the team.

Mathieu Debuchy and Yohan Cabaye, both of Hazard’s former teammates at Lille, will join him for the match.

The former Belgium international made 352 appearances for Chelsea. He scored 110 goals and provided 92 assists for the Blues.
