After the “blue flame” idea for their 2024-25 home kit divided supporters, Chelsea maintained the theme while keeping things reassuringly basic with their new away jersey.
The shirt’s base colour appears to be off-white, but we are informed that it is a very, very delicate shade of orange known as “guava ice” by the manufacturer Nike. The material’s rough weave creates a tessellating pattern that resembles chain links.

The flame concept continued with the same brilliant orange trim from the home shirt, which, according to the club, is “presenting fire and the shared ambition, burning passion, and determination of the whole club to succeed both on and off the pitch.” Reported On Social Media.
The style is finished with a contrasting orange-and-blue club crest and Nike emblem, which have been embossed and given an iridescent sheen to make them stand out under the lights, as has been the case with Chelsea kits in recent seasons.
As things stand, a main sponsor has yet to be applied across the midriff of any of the men’s first-team shirts.
Chelsea’s current away kit was unveiled during their preseason tour of the United States, with a promotional video shot on location in San Jose, California.
The Blues opened with a stunning 4-1 loss to Celtic at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana. They will now face América, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan in the coming two weeks before returning home to resume their Premier League preparations under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea’s first game of the season will be at home against Manchester City on August 18, followed by London derbies against Crystal Palace and West Ham United in the first six games.
