Premier League giants Chelsea are leading the race to sign Algerian attacking midfielder Yacine Brahimi from Porto, according to O Jogo.
The Portuguese publication reports that the Blues are in pole position to win the signature of the 26-year-old, who has spent the last two seasons at Porto and racked up 21 goals in 85 appearances.
The Fennec Foxes star is also said to be on the wish-list of clubs such as AC Milan, Wolfsburg and Liverpool.
Chelsea, who are looking to rebuild under new coach Antonio Conte after a disappointing 2015/16 campaign, would need to stump up £23.5million to sign the Paris-born player.
However, pushing a transfer through will not be straightforward, as the player is part-owned by Doyen Sports, meaning Chelsea will have to effectively deal with three parties instead of the usual two.
Nonetheless, it is expected that the London side will pursue a move for the North African, who also featured for Clermont, Rennes and Granada in his club career.
