Chelsea and Manchester City have reportedly joined Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the race to sign Brazil teenage sensation, Estevao Willian.
Brazil is renowned for producing young players at an astonishing rate. And in recent years, more and more of these players have been shipped to European clubs.
The most recent big transfer is Endrick, an exceptional player from Palmeiras who will move to Real Madrid in 2024 in a deal worth £60 million.
However, he is not the only one who is regarded as one of the top up-and-coming players in the globe at the Sao Paulo-based club.
The latest player that Europe’s top teams are vying for is Estevao. The 16-year-old, who goes by “Messinho” because of the way he plays, is an avid supporter of Barcelona, the team that his famous namesake played for the majority of his playing career.
Among the teams hoping to sign him is Barcelona. The Laliga giants have discussed a possible transfer for the young player with agent Angel Curry. The Catalan club are reportedly the winger’s preferred choice.
They are not alone in their pursuit, though, as there are a number of parties that could try to profit on Barca’s financial situation.
According to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Manchester City have all taken notice of his position and are keeping tabs on it.

In an attempt to maximize their revenue from the potential sale of Estevao’s talent, Palmeiras signed him to a new contract in April. However, the winger’s agent, Link, negotiated a £47 million release clause into his contract.
In his 14 games for Palmeiras’ under-20 team, the winger has contributed one assist and two goals.
