Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed he will contact Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was stripped of the captaincy this week.
Aubameyang lost the captain’s armband this week after he was dropped for disciplinary reasons against Southampton over the weekend while he didn’t feature against West Ham United on Wednesday.
Tuchel worked with Aubameyang during his time in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund, where they lifted the DFB Pokal in his final season before he moved to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

The German tactician has revealed he feels sorry for Aubameyang’s situation and will make contact with his former striker soon.
“I will at some point. I feel sorry that he is in trouble,” Tuchel said, when asked if he will contact the striker, as per the Mirror.
“I believe in his positive character but I am not involved in this situation or his club. It is just about my picture & relationship.”
