The Daily Express states that Chelsea, under the guidance of Antonio Conte, are ready to make an incredible double swoop for Roma’s Radja Nainggolan and Kostas Manolas.
Italy boss Conte is widely expected to take charge at Stamford Bridge this summer and the tbloids have been full of Serie A stars that he’s looking to bring with him to west London- and the Rome-based duo are just two of his targets.
Belgian midfielder Nainggolan and Greek defender Manolas would add an immense boost to Chelsea’s squad, especially with a number of high-profile departures expected from Chelsea this summer- not least of all the exit of club legend John Terry.
There is potential problems for Chelsea though, as they face rival Premier League interest for both players, and the absence of Champions League football could lead the duo to remain in Rome for the foreseeable future.
