Carney Chukwuemeka, Chelsea midfielder, is reportedly a transfer target for AC Milan and Saudi Arabian clubs ahead of January, with Enzo Maresca willing to allow him leave Stamford Bridge.
According to sources familiar with the issue, Chukwuemeka is not in Maresca’s plans at Chelsea, and the club would prefer to sell the England youth international in a permanent deal as soon as feasible.
So far, there has been a lot of interest in signing Chukwuemeka on loan, and CaughtOffside knows that Milan is also looking for low-cost options to bolster their midfield in January.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea and Milan can reach an agreement, but the clubs have an excellent working relationship, having recently completed deals for Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
It appears that Chukwuemeka’s Chelsea career is coming to an end, at least while Maresca is still in control.
The Italian strategist has had a promising start with the Blues and has done a good job of reducing the squad in recent months, with Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah departing in the summer.
Chukwuemeka appears to be out of Maresca’s plans, along with Ben Chilwell, with the two looking to leave the west London club in January.
Chelsea may be more flexible on a loan for Chukwuemeka if it contains a purchase obligation, but we should have a better sense of the conditions of any potential negotiations as January approaches.
Saudi Arabia might potentially be an option for the 20-year-old, and Crystal Palace is said to have expressed interest in him in the summer, so he could be worth keeping an eye on this winter.
