After being informed that he was not part of new manager Enzo Maresca plans, Kepa became available for a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The Spain international signed a one-year contract extension with the Blues but will play the season on the south coast, reports The Standard Sports

After moving from Athletic Bilbao to Stamford Bridge for £71 million in 2018, he became the most expensive goalkeeper in the world.

Neill Blake stated, “We are thrilled to have a player of Kepa’s caliber join Bournemouth.”

“We were eager to take advantage of the chance to bring him to the club on loan and were aware of his availability.

Arrizabalaga rejoined Athletic Bilbao in 2013 after starting his professional club career with Basconia in 2011.

In 2015 and 2016, he played on loan for Real Valladolid and Ponferradina.

In 2018, he moved to Chelsea for a record-breaking €80 million (£72 million), setting a new record for the cost of a goalkeeper.
