Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has revealed that his four favourite players are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Eden Hazard.
Messi has been excellent for Barcelona this season, scoring 41 goals in 40 games across all competitions, while Ronaldo has scored 26 times in 35 appearances for Real Madrid.
Neymar, meanwhile, has been impressive for Barcelona of late and Hazard has played a prominent part in Chelsea’s push for the Premier League title.
As reported by Football Italia, Nainggolan, who recently confirmed holding talks with Chelsea in last summer’s transfer window, said: “My four favourite players in general are, however, [Lionel] Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and [Eden] Hazard.”
It is rather unsurprising that Messi is one of Nainggolan’s favourite players, with the Argentine renowned as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Ronaldo has performed to a consistently high standard for Real, winning an array of trophies, while he won the Ballon d’Or for 2016.
Although Neymar hasn’t been quite so prolific in front of goal, the Brazilian is still capable of causing difficulties for
opponents with his trickery.
Chelsea star Hazard, Nainggolan’s international teammate for Belgium, endured some difficult moments last campaign but has reminded everyone of his true quality this time around.
While Messi has scored the most goals out of the quartet, it is Neymar who has made the biggest impact in a creative sense, providing 0.38 assists per game. Hazard, meanwhile, has completed the most take-ons and has the highest pass accuracy.
