Chelsea have unveiled their new ‘ice cold’ away kit for the 2022-23 season.
The Blues will debut their new kits in their Premier League opener against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The popular white-base colour, which hasn’t been seen since the 2019–20 season, is the new away kit’s standout feature. The distinctive lion pattern seen on the home kit is also present on the away kit, however this time it is framed by four turquoise stripes.

Chelsea announced their away kit for the season after introducing Cucurella, who wore the white kit at his announcement after signing for the club.
Chelsea will wear the new kit against Everton in their first match of the season, which will be available for purchase at the end of August.
Chelsea’s official website provided this information, as they also presented the kit in an article rather than a more formal release.

According to the website’s description of the kit, “In a continuation from this season’s Nike home kit, our new away strip pays homage to one of the most important figures in the club’s history, Ted Drake.
“Chelsea will wear our brand new 2022/23 away kit at Goodison Park.
“Key design elements of the kit see the return of the popular white base colour, most recently seen during the 2019/20 season.
“The unique lion pattern that appears on the collar of the home kit now features as turquoise stripes across the away kit.
“The inner neck design includes ‘Chelsea FC, London’ – a tribute to our city.”
Chelsea fans will get to see their new kit in action when the Blues meet Tottenham Hotspur in their second game of the season at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel’s side will be hoping to reclaim their place at the top of the Premier League as the season approaches.
