The Blues have looked everywhere for a solution, but they haven’t been able to find it. Costa’s physical presence and technical skill have been missing from the game.

According to the Spanish publication, Chelsea is prepared to pay £70 million for Victor Boniface, a star for Bayer Leverkusen.

Victor Osimhen, a fellow Nigerian, is the other player the Blues have previously been connected to, although he may have chosen to join Manchester United.

Although he is not quite as prolific and is two years younger than Osimhen, Boniface has excelled in his two seasons at Leverkusen.

He recorded 21 goals and 9 assists in 34 games during Leverkusen’s practically flawless season in 2023–24. This season, he has 10 goals and 1 assist in 19 games.

The worry with Boniface is that; he might not adjust to life in the Premier League, reports Pride of London.

Unlike other prolific forwards who have succeeded in Germany but failed in England.

We are aware that the Premier League is more physically taxing than other leagues.

Boniface has a strong goal-scoring record with five goals in eight Europa League games last season and one goal in three Champions League games this season.
