The star player in the Nigerian team to CHAN 2016 Chisom Chikatara has dragged Wydad Casablanca of Morocco to FIFA over unpaid wages as his move to French second division side Chateauroux draws near.
Wydad has communicated to Chikatara, Burkina Faso Mohammed Outtara and Argentina Alejandro Quintana that they are not in their plans for next season. A move which has a lot to do with their plans to train the foreign players on their books to meet up to the required quota.
However while Quitana returned from Argentina and discovered that his contract has been terminated by the club, Chikatara’s case is a bit different as he want to terminate his contract in order to seal a free transfer move to French second division side Chateauroux.
His desire to have his contract terminated was rejected by the club who are open to the idea of a loan move to a Morrocan side or even to Chateauroux to help them recoup part of their investment on him.
On his part, Chikatara just like Quitana has dragged Wydad to FIFA over unpaid bonuses with Chikatara also claiming that he has not been paid for three months and a ruling from the world soccer body is expected soonest.
