Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has said Carney Chukwuemeka is free to leave the club.
Chukwuemeka failed to make the matchday squad for Chelsea’s Premier League 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
The midfielder has been linked with a summer exit from the Stamford Bridge.
“I think every case is different,” Maresca said after the game. Reported By Skysport.
“Carney is a very good player. The problem is, because of some injuries in the past, I think the best for him is to play 30 or 35 games in a row, to show himself that he is fit and how good he is.
“With us, is he going to play 35 games? I’m not sure.
