Chelsea star, Cole Palmer has reportedly begun the process to trademark his shivering celebration as he aims to cash in on it’s popularity.
Since moving from Manchester City to Chelsea in the summer of 2023, the 22-year-old has emerged as one of the Premier League’s top talents.
His ‘ice cold’ celebration has earned him the nickname ‘Cold Palmer’ throughout that time.
Palmer rubs his arms and puffs up his cheeks through the celebration to indicate that he is cold.

According to The Sun as reported by Daily Mail, he has now taken steps to copyright the celebration and the moniker.
According to documents, he intends to use it to market a variety of goods, such as diet drinks, cars, razor blades, food, toys, alcohol, clothes, and fragrances.
A video of the celebration is part of the official application that the Englishman submitted to the Government’s Intellectual Property Office.
Palmer, who has 11 goals this season and is third in the Premier League Golden Boot rankings, initially performed the celebration during a 3-2 victory against Luton last December. Since then, it has become a common sight.
After the match, the England international said he got the idea from Morgan Rodgers, a fellow graduate of the City academy, who had reacted similarly after scoring for Middlesbrough against West Brom the week before.
He promised the now-Aston Villa player that he would follow suit when he scored again, and he has since claimed it as his own.
