Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea players against complacency as they prepare for their crunch Premier League clash with Swansea City next weekend.
The Blues continued their hunt for a domestic double this season as they beat Wolves 2-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup thanks to goals from Pedro and Diego Costa on Saturday night.
Chelsea are the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season after their brilliant start to the new campaign under Conte.
The west London side are currently eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City as they bid to win the title in Conte’s first campaign in charge.
Their remarkable upturn in form has been in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when they ended up 10th and without a trophy.
And Conte has warned that Chelsea are in for another stern test of their title credentials when they host Swansea next weekend.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday, Conte said: “Now it’s important to have a rest and then to restart to prepare for another tough game against Swansea.
“If someone thinks the Swansea game is easy, they make a great mistake.”
