Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has slammed his agent following comments that he could be set for a summer move away from Stamford Bridge.
Conte’s representative Federico Pastorello made a stunning revelation last week that ‘new opportunities may arise’ amid growing speculation that the 47-year-old is eyeing a return to Italy at the end of the campaign.
However, in the aftermath of Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Wednesday evening, the ex-Juventus manager hit out at Pastorello, while rubbishing the recent rumours.
‘Honestly I’m disappointed to be on the front pages,’ Conte told Sky Italia after Chelsea maintained their seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
‘Pastorello is a friend, I know him well but I don’t like when others speak for me.
‘If someone wants to know something about me, then they must ask me.’
It’s believed Inter Milan are plotting a move for Conte ahead of the 2017/18 season but it’s expected he will continue his stay with the London giants.
