Cristiano Ronaldo Agrees Deal With Saudi Arabian Team Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed a two-and-a-half year contract to play with Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo left Manchester United earlier this month when the club agreed to end his contract early.

It came after his spirited interview with Piers Morgan in which he attacked Erik ten Hag and the club’s leadership.

The 37-year-old is currently free to sign with any organization, and reports indicate that he has already identified his new team.

He has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract worth £173m annually with the Saudi club Al Nassr, according to the Spanish daily Marca.

During his interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo previously revealed he rejected a £306m offer to move to a Saudi Arabia side in the summer.

Instead he stayed at Old Trafford, but played just 520 minutes of Premier League action and scored one goal.

Following his exit, Ronaldo released a statement and said: “Following talks with Manchester United, we’ve mutually agreed to end our contract,” the striker said.

“I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change. It feels like the right time to seek a new challenge. I wish Man Utd all the best.”

For now, Ronaldo will likely have his focus on Portugal and the World Cup.

They have already qualified for the last-16 and face South Korea on Friday in their final group stage game.
