Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 40th birthday on Wednesday and shows no signs of slowing down his legendary career.
The Portugal captain scored twice in Al Nassr’s 4-0 Asian Champions League victory over Al Wasl on Monday, bringing his total to 923 goals. It was his 700th club win.
Ronaldo is largely recognized as one of the greatest footballers of all time. In his mind, he believes there is little competition for the crown.
“I honestly haven’t seen anyone better than me,” the AL Nassr forward stated to El Chiringuito TV. “I believe I am the greatest complete player to have ever existed. “I do everything in football.”
Given his accomplishments and longevity, he is a one-of-a-kind player.

Ronaldo, who began his professional career at Sporting CP in 2002 before joining Manchester United a year later, has won 33 senior trophies.
He has won five Champions League titles, including four during his nine-year stint at Real Madrid.
“I’m so competitive that many times I forget what I’ve achieved as it gives me motivation to do more and be better every year,” Ronaldo told ESPN. “I believe that is the distinction from others. Someone else in my circumstances would have left football ten years ago. I’ll keep following my interest. “I am different.”
Ronaldo, who has five Ballon d’Ors and two FIFA the Best honors, says he isn’t ready to retire.
“I could honestly end my career now and I wouldn’t have any regrets,” according to him. “It would be a shame, because I’m still extremely healthy, and I still make a difference. I can continue to make a difference for another one or two years.
It remains to be seen whether Ronaldo will reach 1,000 career goals.
