Cristiano Ronaldo is set to sign a new contract with Real Madrid, Marca.com reports.
The Portuguese’s ace contract extension arrives after Gareth Bale’s who put pen to paper on a new deal with the club last week.
The Spanish news outlet also reveals the details of Cristiano Ronaldo’s new Real Madrid contract.
The former Manchester United star’s new deal will expire in 2021, which means Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at the Santiago Bernabeu until he’s 36.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary will be higher than Bale’s. The Welshman is on a € 17-million a year deal and CR7 is set to get more than that for the next five years.
Ronaldo, 31, has seven goals and five assists in 11 games in all competitions so far this season. The Portuguese star joined the Merengues in a € 94 million move in summer 2009.
During his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, Ronaldo has settled himself as the best goal scorer at the club having found the net 371 times in 359 games.
