Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he intends to conclude his career with current club Al Nassr, but not for another two or three years.
The Portugal superstar has ended any dreams of returning to his first club, Sporting Lisbon, by announcing that he intends to stay in Saudi Arabia until his retirement.
“I am not sure if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but I will most likely retire here at Al Nassr,” Ronaldo told Portuguese station NOW.
“I’m extremely satisfied at this club, and I feel good in this country. I’m delighted to be playing in Saudi Arabia, and I hope to continue.”

Ronaldo joined the Saudi Pro League in December 2022, following his contentious departure from Manchester United.
The 39-year-old started all of Portugal’s matches at Euro 2024, where they advanced to the quarter-finals before succumbing to France on penalties.
He aims to continue playing for his country, at least for the time being, and hopes to play in the upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia and Poland.
“When I leave the national team, I won’t tell anyone in advance and it will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but also a very well thought-out one,” the former Real Madrid forward said.
“Right now, all I want is to help the national team in their next matches.
“We have the Nations League ahead of us and I would really like to play.”
Ronaldo, who presently has 898 career goals, has also stated that he has no ambition to enter management after retiring from football.
