Curry on the menu in Japan

England flanker Tom Curry will have his twin brother Ben watching in the stands when the Red Rose face South Africa in Saturday’s World Cup final. Tom has been outstanding for Eddie Jones’ side in the Far East, and along with Sam Underhill has thrown himself about to earn the duo the nickname the ‘kamikaze twins’. He has a real twin brother in Sale back-row ace Ben, who has been given permission to support his sibling in person. The match takes place a day after he was due to play for Sale against Bristol but following a social media campaign #GetBenToJapan, the north-west outfit have granted the younger leave for the biggest moment of his brother’s life. Ben has been close to a full England cap himself, making the squad to tour Argentina in the summer of 2017 but failing to play for the senior team in South America. The Hounslow-born ace has been tipped for full international honours in the future having won five caps at Under-18 level and seven for the Under-20 age-group side.
