For a spot in the 2025 Champions League final, Arsenal will play Paris Saint-Germain after defeating Real Madrid and Aston Villa, respectively.
Second place in the Premier League Arsenal crushed the reigning champions 5-1 on aggregate, despite appearing to have a difficult task ahead of their quarterfinal matchup with Real Madrid.
PSG advanced to another Champions League semi-final after overcoming a late rally from Villa to win 5–4 overall.
Beckham expressed his admiration for Arsenal’s “complete” performance against Real Madrid and said the Gunners’ European progress is “great” for English football.
Despite this, he wants his former team, Paris Saint-Germain, to defeat Arsenal in the Champions League final, reports Metro.
Beckham concluded his illustrious career at PSG and has pleasant memories of his time there, despite making just 14 appearances.
‘I actually think it’s great to see an English team in the semis,’ Beckham told CBS Sports after the four semi-finalists were confirmed.
‘Obviously, if they go on and obviously beat PSG and get to the final, I think it’ll be a special thing for them as a club.
