David Raya Sends Strong Arsenal Message After PSG Champions League Defeat

David Raya is certain that Arsenal has what it takes to overcome Paris Saint-Germain’s 1-0 lead at Parc des Princes the following week.

At the Emirates Stadium, PSG forward Ousmane Dembele’s goal in the first half proved to be the game-winning goal.

Gianluigi Donnarumma was instrumental, making a number of vital saves during the contest. In the meantime, Raya rejected advances from Marquinhos, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Desire Doue.

Raya praised his Arsenal colleagues’ efforts and emphasized the positives, saying that Mikel Arteta’s team is still optimistic of a comeback in Paris despite the outcome, reports Football London.

“Well, they started very quick with the goal and I thought they dominated the first 15, 20 minutes but after that, I thought we dominated most of the game,” he told Amazon Prime Video.

“We created the chances, Donnarumma made some brilliant saves and it was only half time.

We take a lot of positives from this, we know they are a top, top team.

“But credit to the players, for the effort that we put on the pitch and we could have won the game as well.

We know they keep the possession a lot and they’re really good at that and obviously had that chance and they put it in the back of the net.
