Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard are still not training with the Belgium squad, suggesting they will at most be on the bench for the UEFA EURO 2020 quarter-final with Italy.
It kicks off in Munich on Friday at 20.00 UK time.
Both stars limped off during their 1-0 Round of 16 victory against Portugal.
Coach Roberto Martinez said it was ’50-50’ whether either of these players would recover in time for the Italy match.
According to the latest reports, Hazard and De Bruyne were nowhere to be seen in this afternoon’s training session.
They were both working indoors, so in the gym or undergoing physiotherapy sessions.
De Bruyne sustained a heavy knock to the ankle, while Hazard felt a muscular twinge.
While it’s possible they will be on the bench, it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that they will be considered fit to start the match that is just over 48 hours away.
