De Ligt Utter Five-Word Statement As He Boards Plane To Man United

Inbound Manchester United player, Matthijs de Ligt is delighted to be making a move to the club and reportedly revealed that Noussair Mazraoui was waiting for him at Munich Airport ahead of their flight to Manchester.

Following the arrival of Leny Yoro from Lille, the Red Devils dubbed the Bayern Munich duo as their top defensive targets. They have been chasing the two for the past few weeks, and they have already had a combined bid for the pair rejected.

After two different deals were made late last week, both players are currently leaving for England to sign contracts with Erik ten Hag’s team.

Before flying out to Manchester, De Ligt was seen arriving at Munich Airport. He later disclosed that Mazraoui, his soon-to-be teammate, was already within the premises.

The Netherlands international told Sky Sports Germany as echoed by Daily Express: “Noussair is waiting for me!” It has also been reported that De Ligt was late to the airport.

In preparation for his journey, Mazraoui was also captured packing his bags. At Old Trafford, he will sign a deal that will last until 2029 with the possibility of one more year.

United’s pursuit of Mazraoui has been clouded by doubt because the agreement depended on Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s willingness to leave the side.

The former Crystal Palace star first insisted that he would be willing to go if Inter Milan made a move, but a deal with the Serie A team never came to fruition.

West Ham United then came on with a bid which was agreed by United. Wan-Bissaka needed time to agree to the personal terms, but eventually did so.
