Despite losing, the 2021 Champions and 2018 World Cup champions narrowly avoided relegation from the Nations League. Croatia’s 3-1 victory over Austria, which condemned the Austrians, saved them.
Manchester United star, Christian Eriksen, completely dismantled France, making him by far the finest player on the field.
Eriksen didn’t have a goal or an assist, but he had total control of the game as Denmark played with organization, precision, and ultimately became victorious.
France become one of six teams to not have scored any goal in the first half of a 2022 Nations League game. England, Slovakia, Liechtenstein, Malta and San Marino make up the other five.
