Aston Villa are close to signing Crvena Zvezda midfielder Kosta Nedeljkovic for £6.5 million plus add-ons. According to DailyMail.
After joining Villa, the 18-year-old right-back is expected to be loaned back to his current club. According to Serbian media, the agreement includes a sell-on clause that will give Crvena Zvezda a 12% part of any future profits made by the player from Aston Villa.

Nedeljkovic has made 12 league appearances this season and only made his first-team debut back in August. He has also featured four times in the Champions League this season in Crvena Zvezda’s group stage games against RB Leipzig, Manchester City and Young Boys.
Nedeljkovic will not play for Villa until at least next season, but Calum Chambers will still be allowed to leave the club despite being one of a few players capable of playing at right-back. Matty Cash is currently the only recognised right-back in the team, while Ezri Konsa has operated in that position frequently this season.
Kaine Kesler-Hayden, meanwhile, was just recalled from his season-long loan at Plymouth Argyle. He made 24 Championship appearances for Argyle this season and is anticipated to leave the club either permanently or on another loan during this window.
Villa are now implementing a one-in, one-out strategy, with Chambers and Bertrand Troare both free to depart the club.
