Diaby According to 90min, Aston Villa are competing with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr for the signature of France international winger Moussa.
90min reported earlier this week that Villa made a second approach for Diaby valued roughly €50 million, and Bayer Leverkusen are open to a deal despite initially seeking a €60 million fee.
Leverkusen has granted Diaby access to speak with Villa, as well as Al Nassr, who has lately made a bid for the player.
The Bundesliga club has informed Al Nassr that they need to increase their offer, which is considered as likely, and the final choice will be left to Diaby himself.

Villa have been working hard to sign Diaby, with their new head of football operations, Monchi, actively involved in the negotiations.
Diaby’s camp suggested earlier this week that a move to England with Villa was his favorite option, but Al Nassr is pushing hard as well, and their contract offer to the winger is massive, certainly tempting the France international to leave European play.
Leverkusen wants him to make a choice by the weekend so that they can go forward with their own transfer plans for the next season.
Diaby is under contract for two more years and Leverkusen would like to keep him, though Diaby is thought to be attracted by the idea of joining Villa.
His goal has always been to play Champions League football but with Emery backed by billionaire owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, Villa believe they can get there in the coming seasons.
