Diego Costa is reportedly going to have a trial at Wolves this new week in a bid to return to the PL. After new signing Sasa Kalajdzic sustained an ACL injury this weekend, Wolves are expected to sign the former Chelsea forward swiftly if he performs well.
Costa is a free agent, therefore Bruno Lage’s team are free to sign him after the transfer window closes.

What Has Costa Been Up To?
Diego Costa spent three and a half years at Atletico Madrid after leaving Chelsea in the summer of 2017.
During that time, he scored 19 goals in 81 games across all competitions. His contract with Atletico Madrid was mutually terminated in December 2020.
In August 2021, the forward signed with Atletico Mineiro. He scored five goals in 19 games, however his contract was terminated in January of this year.
Costa has been out of the game for the past eight months, but if his trial is successful, he might make a dramatic return to the Premier League.
