Djenepo and Cedric on the road to recovery

Cedric Soares and Moussa Djenepo have been back on the training ground as they continue to work their way back to full fitness. Portugal international full-back, Cedric, has been missing since the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham at White Hart Lane on September 28 when he picked up a calf strain in the warm-up.
However, the 28-year-old, who has been given another chance to shine at St Mary’s after returning from a six-month loan stint with Italian Serie A side Inter Milan, took to social media to show himself and Djenepo participating in training at the club’s Staplewood Campus.
Djenepo, who made an immediate impact with the Saints after arriving in a £14million deal from Belgian outfit Standard Liege in the summer.
The Mali international won the Premier League’s Goal of the Month for September with his effort in the 1-0 win against Sheffield United.
However, he has missed the last four games in all competitions because of a hip problem and that has coincided with a downturn in results for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
Neither player will be back in action on Saturday when the Saints travel to face Wolves at Molineux.
However, striker Danny Ings will feature with Hasenhuttl claiming he is in good shape and looking to get some vital goals for the club.
Meanwhile, all of the players who went away on international duty have returned unscathed which will be a boost for the Austrian tactician as he looks to secure a positive result.
The Saints go into the Wolves’ game on the back of three consecutive league defeats and were crushed 4-1 at home against Chelsea before the international break.
Southampton sit just outside of the relegation places ahead of third-bottom Everton on goal difference, although a win would move them level on points with Nuno Espirito Santo’s mid-table side.
