Manchester United must travel to Real Sociedad for the first leg of the UEFA Europa League round of 16. The Red Devils travel to the Reale Arena, one of La Liga’s most intimidating arenas, as Ruben Amorim side attempts to secure a lead in Spain before the return leg at Old Trafford next Thursday.
Given their precarious position in the Premier League, winning the Europa League is United’s sole chance of ensuring Champions League football for next season.

Forwards – Bruno Fernandes may shift higher up the pitch and play as a right winger on paper, but he will be able to drop deep and wander the pitch for the ball. Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho could be selected to play on the left flank. Rasmus Hojlund is expected to leave the team due to poor form, therefore Joshua Zirkzee could take his place as striker.
