Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering a transfer move for Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher.
Since Mateo Kovacic is soon to join Manchester City and N’Golo Kante, who have left the club for Al-Ittihad. Chelsea are presently in the process of restructuring their midfield.
The England international will inadvertently move up the pecking order as a result of those two departures. Yet it is known that Chelsea are open to bids for his signature.
Selling Gallagher would help the West Londoners’ finances in their quest to meet FFP requirements. At least until they try to negotiate a deal for his replacement who might be more expensive than Gallagher.
Florian Plettenburg, a journalist for Sky Sport Deutschland, claimed on Twitter that Dortmund are keeping an eye on the situation before maybe making an official offer.
⬇️ Dortmund bosses are still monitoring the situation of #Gallagher as they want to replace Bellingham and Dahoud. He’s a very interesting player for #BVB!

Due to other departures from the Westfalenstadion, the funds available to the Bundesliga runners-up from last season must be allocated fairly. This is because of Jude Bellingham sale to Real Madrid.
