Borussia Dortmund starlet Emre Mor posted a heart-warming message to his idol Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday night, after facing the 31-year-old in the Champions League.
Thomas Tuchel’s side played host to Los Blancos in their second European game of the season and managed to snatch a late point through Andre Schurrle.
Zinedine Zidane’s side had taken the lead on 16 minutes when Cristiano Ronaldo finished off Gareth Bale’s back-heel, with Mor watching on from Dortmund’s substitute bench.
However, Dortmund equalised through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, before Raphael Varane restored the lead prior to Schurrle’s late leveller.
With all the drama happening on the field, Thomas Tuchel did not deny Mor’s dreams coming true and deployed the highly-rated Turkey international for the final 13 minutes of the game.
It is well documented that the 19-year-old has often looked up to Ronaldo as he made his way through the game and after an embrace with him at the final whistle, Mor explained his feelings on Instagram.
Mor has played in two of Dortmund’s five league games so far this season, starting his first league game for the club in the recent 3-1 win over Freiburg.
