Didier Drogba has taken to social media and joked that he will rejoin Chelsea on a short-term loan in order to face Arsenal in next month’s FA Cup final.
The Blues legend has an extremely impressive record in games against the Gunners as he’s found the back of the net on 17 occasions – including one in a pre-season friendly for the MLS All-Stars as recently as last summer.
With the two London rivals set to meet on May 27 for the right to lift the FA Cup trophy at Wembley, Drogba posted a message via his official Twitter account informing his current club Phoenix Rising of his intentions to inflict more damage on Arsene Wenger’s side.
Dear @PHXRisingFC I'll be off on loan with @ChelseaFC for two days 26/27th of May, just to make it 17/17 against #afc #IswearIBeBack #banter

Chelsea booked their place in the final – meaning Antonio Conte remains on course to finish his first season in English football with a Premier League and Cup double – following a 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Gunners required extra-time to overcome Manchester City today as they came from behind to reach a 20th FA Cup final thanks to goals from Nacho Monreal and Alexis Sanchez.
