Paulo Dybala says that after speaking with Maurizio Sarri in 2019, he turned down a transfer to Manchester United while he was still playing for Juventus.
In a lengthy interview, Dybala discussed his career and future goals.
With three dozen goals in three seasons in the league with Palermo, Juventus, and Roma, the Argentinean is already a Serie A icon.
When Juventus and Manchester United were negotiating a trade involving the Argentinean and Lukaku in 2019, he was on the verge of departing Italy, says Football Italia

“I recall an approach from Manchester United and Tottenham that summer, but it was more Manchester because Juventus wanted to make that move,” Dybala remarked.
“I met with (Maurizio) Sarri during that season when Juve appointed him to see if he truly didn’t want me on the club. It was my desire to stay after our conversation. I was reluctant to go. I felt content and wanted to stay in Turin. My best year was that one.
With Chelsea reportedly linked to Partenopei star Osimhen and Napoli showing interest in the Belgian striker, Lukaku might be involved in a fresh trade deal.
In addition to being voted the season’s best player, Dybala helped Juventus win Serie A.
Three years later, he left Juventus after the Serie A powerhouses declined to renew his contract. That summer, the Argentinean signed a free transfer to Roma.
