Echiejile explains why he was recalled from loan by Monaco

Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile has revealed the reason why he was recalled from loan by French giants Monaco.

Echiejile’s loan deal with Belgian side Standard Liege was cancelled by the French side. The 28 year old has now revealed the reason behind his recall.

Speaking exclusively to AOIfootball.com after arriving in camp, the former Sporting Braga left wing back said he is poised for the challenge.

“I am not new to this kind of challenge and even now that I know the club needs me more, I’m ready to bring my experience to the pitch and ensure we win all the trophies available and at our reach.”

“I will speak to Coach Jardim, and I’ll know the role the club wants me to play. I’m ready to give 100 percent to ensure this great club becomes champion of France once again; I believe we have what it takes to do it” enthused Echiejile.
