Eden Hazard is utilizing his retirement days well. His old team Lille, where he most recently played, honored him, and he’s agreed to come back to Stamford Bridge in the summer to participate in a charity match.
The information that has surfaced now indicates that he has also consented to serve as president of Deptostra FC, a Belgian team that competes in the King’s League, a football seven-a-side league founded by former Spian international Gerard Pique.
Hazard has committed to play in the Kings World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Mexico later this year, according to London World.
Rio Ferdinand will join Zlatan Ibrahimović and Neymar in the competition; however, the former Manchester United defender will only be competing in the capacity of co-president of one of the teams with content creator Jeremy Lynch.

However, Hazard will serve as Deptostra’s only president as he looks to fill his schedule following his football retirement last year. He said that he had been tempted by wealthy Saudi clubs to quit, but that it was best for him to stay away and that he had enough money to take care of his children.
He declared: “Saudi Arabia made me two or three offers, but I have a lot of money.” You are aware of my lifestyle—I don’t spend excessive amounts of money. I therefore have enough cash to raise my children.”
Pique organized the competition and aims to blend the best aspects of football with rules reminiscent of video games in 40-minute, seven-a-side games.
