Jude Bellingham and four other England players are in danger for missing out on a potential Euro 2024 semi-final.
UEFA is presently investigating Bellingham’s alleged vulgar celebration after scoring a last-minute equaliser in the round-of-16 triumph over Slovakia.

Even if the England midfielder avoids a ban, he will need to be cautious in the quarterfinals against Switzerland. This is owing to Bellingham receiving a yellow card in the Slovakia game, and another booking on Saturday would result in a one-game suspension. Reported By Express News.
The Real Madrid star isn’t the only one who needs to be cautious; four other English players have one yellow card each. Right-back Kieran Trippier and attacker Phil Foden were both cautioned in the Slovenia game, while midfielder Conor Gallagher was cautioned in the 1-1 draw against Denmark.
On Sunday, both Bellingham and his midfield partner Kobbie Mainoo were booked in the first half. Marc Guehi has already violated UEFA’s Euro 2024 rules, having been booked in the third minute of Sunday’s thrilling 2-1 win.
Guehi had already received a yellow card in England’s last group encounter against Slovenia, thus a replacement at centre-back will be required for the game against Switzerland.
If Bellingham and his teammates escape without trouble, their previous warnings will be removed. Following the quarter-finals, UEFA resets yellow card accumulations, thus a player can only miss the final by collecting a red card in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Bellingham has been asked to write a letter of explanation to UEFA about his goal celebration against Slovakia, which he claims was a prank intended for close friends present at the match.
