West Ham United are reportedly lining up a move for Graham Potter to replace David Moyes as manager of the club.
According to the Sun as claimed by CaughtOffside, the former manager of Brighton and Chelsea is the front-runner to take over at the London Stadium.
The final few games Moyes has left with the Hammers could determine whether or not he stays at the London Stadium at the end of the season.
The Hammers’ terrible play on Sunday, which has hindered them from winning in 2024, was made worse by Arsenal’s 6-0 thumping of them.
According to The Telegraph, 60-year-old Moyes may be fired soon if West Ham’s poor display continues over the next few games.
With their next four league games—at home against Brentford, Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Burnley—it is expected that Moyes will perform better in the coming days and weeks. But in case he can’t, backup plans are already being considered.
One of the candidates for the job is said to be Potter.
The 48-year-old was let go by Chelsea in April following a terrible season during which he was appointed in place of Thomas Tuchel and suffered 11 losses in 31 games.
Former Wolves and Nottingham Forest managers Steve Cooper and Julen Lopetegui have both been linked to the position.

However, it’s unclear if the Hammers would try to make the switch midway through the season or hold off until the very end.
West Ham, who are still in the Europa League, will find out their fate in the last-16 during the draw on Friday, February 23.
