Erik ten Hag Addresses Eight-Player Man United Crisis If He Avoids Sir Jim Ratcliffe Sack

All of the current speculation about Manchester United  around Erik ten Hag future, but the Dutchman is more concerned with getting injured players back to save the season.

United have won just two of their first seven Premier League games, placing them 14th in the table with five goals and eight surrendered.

Against this context, Ten Hag’s future is under intense examination, and it was discussed at The  meeting of United’s football management committee in London on Tuesday, with the 54-year-old still unsure of his options.

However, when Ten Hag rests on a sunny getaway over the international break before returning to Manchester next week, his mind will be preoccupied with the injured players he needs back as quickly as possible. according To Mirror News.

Ten Hag suffered another setback in Sunday’s dull 0-0 draw at Aston Villa, when defender Harry Maguire was pulled off with a muscle rupture that will keep him out for up to four weeks.

With his first-choice central defense partnership of Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs De Ligt struggling and benched at Villa Park, Maguire’s injury is yet another setback for Ten Hag.

Jonny Evans, who partnered Maguire in the goalless draw and was voted man of the match for his fine defensive performance, remains a class act at the back, but at 36, he can’t be expected to play every game, so De Ligt and Martinez must regain their form immediately.

Ten Hag is also without Mason Mount, who has missed United’s last two games due to a cut in his  head sustained in a 3-0 home loss to Tottenham ten days ago, while young stars Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, as well as right-back Noussair Mazraoui, were forced to withdraw from international duty.
