Manchester United will be without Antony, Casemiro, and Anthony Martial for Wednesday’s Premier League match against Leeds.
Injuries to Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, and Donny van de Beek had already left Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United team shorthanded going into the match at Old Trafford.
And now, following his red card for violent behavior in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, Casemiro starts a three-match suspension, and Antony joins Martial, who missed the victory over the Eagles, on the injured list.
Asked about Martial and McTominay, who missed the Palace win, Ten Hag said: “They are not involved tomorrow and the same with Antony.
“He is also not available tomorrow, so we will have to sort it out.”
On the showdown with Leeds, Ten Hag said: “It’s the match of the roses, it’s definitely a big game. In this part of England, it’s a big game for us. We know we have Manchester City and Liverpool, but for our fans this means so much and our players are aware of that and know what to do.”

Ten Hag offered his sympathy to former Leeds boss Jesse Marsch, who was sacked on Monday and said changing managers frequently was not the route to success for clubs.
“It’s always sad if a manager, a colleague, gets sacked,” said Ten Hag.
“In general, I don’t believe in it, that you sack a manager and get better results, because most of the time it doesn’t work. Let the manager finish their work and then make a good evaluation.
“But the pressure is high with decision makers at football clubs and they can turn. But if you see the facts, most of the time it doesn’t work out well.”
