Manchester City talismanic forward, Erling Haaland has won the English Premier League player of the season and young player of the season awards.
In the Premier League’s annual honors, Haaland became the first player to win both gongs in the same season.
The Norwegian striker won the Football Writers’ Footballer of the Year award in early May and his first Premier League trophy with Manchester City on Sunday. The two awards are the latest additions to his trophy cabinet.

Haaland had an outstanding debut season in the English top division, breaking Alan Shearer’s record of 34Â goals in 36 appearances to become the league’s top scorer.
The forward is also the highest goal scorer in the UEFA Champions League with 12 strikes to his name.
The 22-year-old is two games away from winning the treble with Man City. The Cityzens are billed to play local rivals Manchester United in the FA cup final next week Sunday at the Wembley stadium.

On June 10, they will lock horns with Inter Milan in the grand finale of this season’s UEFA Champions League at the Ataturk Stadium in Turkey.
