Erling Haaland has broken the all-time record for the most goals scored in a single Premier League season with his 35th goal in Manchester City’s 3-0 win Over West Ham.
The 22-year-old has already smashed a slew of records in his first season with the Citizens, breaking Mohamed Salah’s record of 32 goals in 38 games with a strike in last week’s 4-1 victory over Arsenal.
Haaland then scored his 50th goal in all competitions in City’s 2-1 win over Fulham last weekend, and he has now carved his name in history again with a monumental goal at the Etihad Stadium against the Hammers.
Haaland currently holds the all-time Premier League record for most goals scored in a single season, with his 35th strike breaking Andy Cole and Alan Shearer’s previous record of 34.

In addition, Haaland has become the first player in English top-flight history to score 35 goals in a single season since Ron Davies did so for Southampton in 1966-67.
Also, City’s No.9 has surpassed Thierry Henry’s record for the most home goals scored in a Premier League season, with his latest strike against West Ham his 22nd in just 16 league games at the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland, who received a guard of honour from his teammates during the game, now has an amazing 51 goals to his name in just 44 games across all tournaments this season, and he is still in with a chance of breaking Dixie Dean’s all-time goalscoring record.
