When asked about the celebration, he replied, “The adrenaline gets you.”It’s a combo of several things. Playing for England is a rewarding experience, but it also carries a lot of expectation. People say a lot of ridiculous things. It’s good to be able to deliver while also giving something back.
“It is really difficult for footballers to speak as frankly as they would like at press conferences and interviews because they are constantly judged. Football allows me to express myself by being on the field, scoring goals, and celebrating. Perhaps it was a message intended for a select people. I was ecstatic at the conclusion, full of adrenaline.
“It is a feeling unlike any other. In international football and knockout football, it’s even a worse feeling, because you’re 30 seconds from going home.
