After a successful debut in the 2021–22 season, the Europa Conference League will return for a second season.
The newly created competition, which was first held last year, had its final in Albania. Roma defeated Feyenoord to win the title.
The Europa Conference League dates will be adjusted for the FIFA World Cup 2022, which will begin in November.
The opening matchday of the group stage will take place in September, and the final game will take place in March.
The group stage opponents will be determined by a draw that takes place today though before the games can start.

The Europa Conference League 2022-23 group stage draw will take today: August 26, 2022. It will be held after the Europa League draws.
The group stage draw will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, and it will start at 1:30pm WAT.

Which Teams Are In The 22/23 Conference League Pots?
There will be 32 football teams in the group stage of the 22/23 Europa Conference League.
The winners of the play-offs make up 22 of the 32 teams competing in the draw. The remaining 10 teams came from the Europa League play-offs.
Using the club’s coefficient calculated at the beginning of the season, qualified teams are sorted into four pots of eight teams each
